About This Project

Movie selected at the Sport Movies &Tv 2019 in Milan.

Gil Cameron was a famous Sprint car racing pilot in Australia in the 80s, famous for the stunts and showing off with which he constantly challenged death in every race and for his inclination to end the competitions at the hospital.

His son Jimmy never shared his father’s desire to take up the sport as is tradition in the families of pilots. He settled in Berlin some time ago where he is a musician and a filmmaker.

Thirty years after his father left the racing world, Jimmy decides to go with Gil to meet all the old glories of Australian Sprint car racing to find out how his life would have been if he’d followed his father’s wishes.

Along the way, they have to deal with all the pain and the sacrifices that Gil’s passion for racing provoked within his family in the past
