2004. Iraq. A group of Italian contractors is kidnapped near Falluja by a band of jihadists.

It’s the beginning of 58 days of imprisonment, negotiations and back-room dealings between the Italian government, the American one, the terrorists and the tribe chiefs during which nothing is as it seems.

The documentary traces the sequence of events of those days that ended with the killing of Fabrizio Quattrocchi, one of the kidnapped contractors.
